PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Within the scope of the Civil Society Support Program II, our project “More Transparent, Stronger NGO” aimed to increase the management and planning capacities of 50 NGOs across 9 provinces in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, ensuring their administrative and financial sustainability, and enhancing their communication and advocacy skills.
To create a better civil dialogue space, the existing network formed under the project improved communication skills, expanded the capacities of the NGO network working in different fields, and strengthened it by increasing volunteers, supporters, and stakeholders as well as developing the ability to collaborate with different institutions. In response to the rapid and widespread advancement of technology, digital skills were also enhanced to adapt to these changes and broaden activity areas.
Instead of working individually, NGOs focused on collaboration with various actors representing the civil society field, enabling them to present a unified voice to external actors such as public institutions, funding bodies, or the government. This cooperation also allowed NGOs to learn from each other and share the financial, temporal, and operational burdens required to develop effective methods.
