PROJECT TITLE:
Emergency Support Project for Earthquake-Affected Communities

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Implemented in the aftermath of the February 2023 earthquakes, the Emergency Support Project for Earthquake-Affected Communities is a humanitarian aid initiative aimed at meeting the urgent needs of individuals impacted by the disaster and improving their living conditions. The project focuses on rapid response to critical post-disaster needs by delivering essential supplies to vulnerable populations.
Project Objectives:
- To meet the basic needs of individuals affected by the earthquake
- To provide emergency humanitarian assistance
- To improve the living conditions of earthquake survivors
PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
Under this project, the following relief items will be distributed to people in need:
- 4,000 blankets
- 500 water containers
- 500 food packages
- 1,000 hygiene kits
- 4,000 children’s kits
- 1,000 winter jackets
- 500 pairs of shoes
These materials will be delivered to the most severely affected regions and distributed in coordination with local stakeholders. Additionally, awareness-raising activities will be conducted to complement the aid efforts, and collaboration will be established between public institutions and civil society organizations.
TARGET GROUP:
The project primarily targets earthquake-affected women, children, elderly individuals, and other vulnerable groups in the impacted regions, while also aiming to support the wider affected population in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.
IMPLEMENTING ORGANIZATION:
The project is implemented by Hayata Gülümse Association in cooperation with experienced local and international humanitarian actors.

This project is funded by Hayata Gülümse Association and is implemented with the aim of delivering urgent aid to individuals affected by the earthquake.
